Будущее нельзя исследовать только из прошлого

Будущее нельзя исследовать только из прошлого

Classical future analysis inevitably relies on the past: history, statistics, previous technological cycles, and company behavior. This is a necessary foundation, but not an absolute source of truth.

The problem arises when a new phenomenon changes the very constraints of the system. Then historical analogies begin to provide increasingly false confidence.

AI is a prime example. Many organizational, economic, and technological decisions today are made in conditions where stable experience simply has not yet had time to accumulate.

In such a situation, the past should be used as a system of warnings and comparisons, but not as the sole generator of answers.

The less the new resembles what has already been experienced, the greater the role of direct verification: a prototype, sandbox, MVP, or one's own experiment.

A futurist must be able to understand where an analogy is useful and where it is already masking a change in the rules of the game.
